Platform Relationship
Coaches on Major League Training are independent contractors, not employees. You control your schedule, rates, training methods, and client relationships. MLT provides the platform, payment processing, and marketing tools. Nothing in this agreement creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship.
Content License
By submitting content (videos, drills, tips, articles) to the platform, you grant Major League Training a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, distribute, and promote that content on the platform and in marketing materials. You retain full ownership of your original content and may use it elsewhere. You represent that you own or have the rights to all content you submit and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
Code of Conduct
Coaches work with minors and must maintain the highest standards of professional conduct. All communication with athletes must occur through the platform or in the presence of a parent/guardian. Coaches are mandatory reporters of suspected child abuse or neglect. Any violation of safety policies, inappropriate conduct, or failure to report may result in immediate suspension and removal from the platform.
Payment Terms
Coaches earn commission on completed sessions based on their creator level: Starter (85%), Rising (86%), Established (87%), Star (88%), and Diamond (90%). Session payments are processed through Stripe and paid out on a weekly basis. Coaches are responsible for their own tax obligations and will receive a 1099 form for earnings exceeding IRS thresholds. MLT does not withhold taxes on your behalf.
Background Check & Verification
All coaches must complete identity verification and pass a background check before accepting bookings. Background checks include criminal history and sex offender registry screening. You authorize Major League Training to obtain these reports as part of your application. Verification must remain current; MLT may require periodic re-screening. Failure to pass or maintain verification results in removal from the platform.
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Coaches may deactivate their account and request content removal. MLT may suspend or terminate coach accounts for policy violations, failed verification, safety concerns, or inactivity. Upon termination, pending session obligations must be fulfilled or properly cancelled. Content removal requests are processed within 30 days.
Liability & Insurance
Coaches are responsible for obtaining their own liability insurance for in-person training sessions. Major League Training provides the platform and safety tools but does not assume liability for injuries, property damage, or other incidents during training sessions. Coaches agree to indemnify MLT against claims arising from their coaching activities.
